How “Voting With The Dems” is calculated-

This tracker analyzes every recorded roll call vote (that wasn’t unanimous) in the Idaho Legislature using data from BillTrack50. For each vote, we determine how the majority of Democrat legislators voted (either Yea or Nay). We then calculate what percentage of the time each Republican legislator cast the same vote as the Democrat majority. This straightforward approach simply measures how often a Republican’s voting record aligns with Democrat positions, regardless of whether the vote was partisan or bipartisan.
