The bill also modifies the nighttime towing prohibition in subsection (3) to clarify that the new mirror-and-time-window exemption applies there as well, meaning vessels meeting the mirror requirement and operating within the specified off-peak hours are no longer barred from towing skiers during those windows. Technical corrections throughout the bill replace the outdated term ‘aquaplane’ with ‘a similar contrivance’ and substitute ‘on’ for ‘upon’ for consistency with modern statutory language.
